I get where Johar was going with this movie, but I feel like he still missed the mark. I think Shah Rukh's character lacked susbtance... he didn't even show much warmth for his son.?! Rani didn't love Abhishek?!! Uhh why!? He was just adorable in the movie. She picked this destructive, aged, negative Shah Rukh over her cute husband? I think sometimes you have to think about the characters and choose the right people to play them out, and that is what Karan forgot to do! No good music, and way too long were its other pit falls. Not every Indian movie needs to be 3 freakin hours long! Especially depressing ones. Depressing movie with fony happy ending!
